On the heels of his summer hit “Don’t Come Easy,” Raheem DeVaughn is back and he’s celebrating love and happiness with a new video and single that celebrates that fluttery feeling love brings.
“What It Feels Like” is the latest release from the Grammy-nominated singer’s forthcoming album Decade of A Love King, expected to drop October 19.
“‘What It Feels Like’ is the flashback story of how two people first met and years later they run into each other and simply take it all the way back to that special day,”DeVaughn told ESSENCE.
The video, directed by Chris Scholar, was produced in conjunction with Hands on the Future, a youth program that trains and prepares teens and young adults for the entertainment industry.
“[The video] was shot at a local food chain restaurant name Z-Burger and supported by the D.C. government and Chi-Squared,” DeVaughn added. “It was a very unified effort to tell my love flashback story.”
