In the video, Raiche walks around a sunny neighborhood, with a slick-back ponytail and a jumpsuit that would make Diana Ross envious. And instead of singing about love found or love lost, Raiche instead croons about stacking her paper and getting those money pies.
“‘Money Pies’ celebrates women chasing the bag and getting what’s theirs in a fun and dreamy way,” Raiche told ESSENCE exclusively in a statement. “For the video, I was surrounded by boss women. Verluxe, the directors, are a trio of amazingly talented and creative women.”
