Tinder has tapped a few notable names, including rapper Rico Nasty, for it’s newest project.
Directed by Karena Evans, the Canadian director behind Drake’s “In My Feelings” and “Nice for What,” Tinder’s Swipe Night is an interactive way to find your next date.
The original choose-your-own-adventure series follows a group of friends facing the end of the world with only hours left to live. As the story unfolds, users are given seven seconds to make critical decisions that will ultimately lead to deeper matches on the app.
Rico Nasty, who makes a cameo in the fourth episode, told ESSENCE that she teamed up with the dating app after hearing the idea for Swipe Night because “it felt really engaging with their fans and felt like it would be fun to experience.”
The rapper adds that if the end-of-the-world situation were real, she’d “probably throw a last day on earth party. Let’s go out with a bang.”
As for her own dating dealbreakers, Rico is definitely not interested in anyone who’s “not enough fun or too much fun,” and says the dating profile that’s likely to catch her eye would definitely be sparse.
“A Tinder profile that would catch my eye would probably be one with the least info on it so I can meet them in person and really see what’s up, just in case they were gassing their profile.”
Tune in for the season finale of Swipe Night this Sunday in the Tinder app from 6 p.m. to 12 p.m. local time.
