Episode five opens up to last week’s intense fight between Kenya Moore and Kim Zolciak-Biermann at NeNe Leakes’ Girls and Gays Never Forget All White Party. Kenya accuses Kim of pimping out her daughter, Brielle, after she tweeted Chrissy Teigen to get concert tickets to see John Legend. Kim almost physically attacks Kenya for the insult, but Shereé Whitfield and Marlo Hampton hold Kim back and break the two ladies apart.
While all of the ladies admit that kids should be off-limits in arguments, they agree that Kim provoked Kenya by saying her husband didn’t exist. To prevent things from escalating further, Kroy (Kim’s husband) and Shereé make Kim leave the party.
In an effort to encourage the ladies to bond and as part of her assignment from her life coach to do something special for herself, Shereé plans a girls’ trip to San Francisco. Despite drama between some of the ladies, she decides to invite everyone. However, Kim chooses to not go on the trip to avoid more drama with Kenya.
Kenya however is dealing with an unfortunate loss. Kenya’s grandmother, who raised her since she was a baby, passes away. Kenya, who has an estranged relationship with her birth mother, says of her grandma, “I’m losing my mother because she’s the only mother I’ve ever known.” Despite dealing with grief and planning her grandmother’s funeral, Kenya still decides to join the rest of the ladies for the girls’ trip.
After the ladies make it to San Francisco, Shereé reveals to the group that she’s been dating a man named Tyrone who’s currently in prison. Considering how private Shereé usually is, the ladies are pretty shocked that she opened up to them about her love life.
On the first night in San Francisco, the ladies all go to dinner and NeNe shows up with Marlo, who she invited along on the trip on her own. At the dinner table, Shereé addresses the beef between NeNe and Porsha Williams in hopes that the two can rekindle their friendship. NeNe and Porsha begin to debate back and forth about which one of them was more angry at the other —particularly after NeNe suggested that both Phaedra and Porsha should be kicked off the show on “Watch What Happens Live”— and Porsha later talked about NeNe on her syndicated entertainment show, “Dish Nation.”
Kenya interjects and says how NeNe was the only person who truly had Porsha’s back in the beginning, and NeNe shares how everyone feels like Porsha should have been disciplined for what went down between her and Kandi last season. Talk about drama!
To see how the dinner ends and the rest of the San Francisco trip goes, we’ll have to tune in next week!
