Finally! After a season of rumors, flat-out lies, gossip and miscommunication, the ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta cleared things up on part three of the reunion Sunday night— and it was glorious.
The special started with the addition of Kandi Burruss‘ husband, Todd Tucker; Cynthia Bailey’s ex-husband, Peter Thomas; and Sheree Whitfield ex-husband, Bob. Host, Andy Cohen asked all the men questions pertaining to their storylines this season.
Bob apologized to Sheree for his violent remarks made to her in regards to beatings when they were married. “I made myself the man and kept her behind me,” he said, “when I should have had her beside me.”
Peter said that he and Cynthia infrequently talked, he’s dating someone else and he will always love her. And Todd touched upon the rumors of threesomes and cheating, which Porsha Williams implied during the season.
The men left the stage after Peter said, “Phaedra and Porsha are full of s**t,” but was very unclear of what exactly what he was talking about. A commercial break later, we knew exactly what he was talking about.
If there’s one thing we know about Sheree Whitfield, it’s that she’s a “bone carrier.”
What that endearing term means is that the RHOA star remembers people’s tea and holds them accountable for talking behind someone’s back, even if the truth is sought in a public, video-taped setting. Sheree’s role on the show, with the addition of Porsha’s former best friend, Shamea Morton was the perfect segway into dissecting all the things Phaedra said behind Kandi’s back this season.
As background, Shamea was besties with Porsha but their relationship fizzled out once Porsha started befriending Phaedra Parks— and rumors began popping up.
Shamea was accused of being promiscuous and having a “close” relationship with Kandi and Todd by Phaedra. Sheree brought this rumor up to Marlo, who at the infamous Hawaiian dinner, brought the threesome/lesbian rumor up to everyone on the cast.
So the animosity between Porsha, Phaedra and Shamea was THICK.
"So everybody gonna act like they ain't never heard about Kandi and Shamea?"
“Southern belle today and hooker tomorrow,” Shamea said about Phaedra. “The streets be talking about you,” adding that she’s into credit card fraud, which her estranged husband, Apollo Nida, was imprisoned for.
“I feel like they have an alliance,” Kandi said about Porsha and Pheadra’s friendship. To which Porsha replied, “Why can’t I have a friend?!”

Everyone was yelling at this point but what ended the bickering was when Andy asked the looming question: Why did Phaedra sit by, knowing she spread rumors, and let Porsha take the heat?
To which, naturally, Porsha replied instead of a mum Phaedra.
“I work for Dish Nation, I’m in the world of journalism,” Porsha said as her cast mates laughed. “So my word needs to be… we do report on news. And a lot of our news we like to make sure it’s accurate.”
“I was served a Cease and Desist by Kandi,” she added in regards to a rumor about Kandi and Todd wanting to drug her for sex. “What I want to do is have Phaedra speak, because she’s the one who told me Kandi said that.”
The bomb was dropped. The defaming rumor that had everyone talking this season came from Phaedra. And that is where the special ended… until next week.
