Disney has dropped a new preview of the upcoming Lion King live-action remake, and we finally get to hear Beyoncé voice Nala for the very first time.
In the fast-paced clip, we see an adult Nala run into her childhood friend Simba for the first time in years.
“Simba,” she says, “you have to take your place as king.”
“We need you,” she continues as snippets of the movie, including a powerful lion battle, roll by. “Come home.”
The Beyhive will also get to hear Beyoncé sing during the movie. She will be joined by Donald Glover, who voices Simba, in classic songs such as “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.”
Director Jon Favreau previously said he had been considering Beyoncé as Nala for a while before he finally reached out to her for the role. Disney confirmed that Bey had joined the cast in Nov. 2017.
“I’ve got the Beyhive in my house,” Favreau told Entertainment Weekly.
This wouldn’t be the first voice-acting role for Queen Bey. The “Formation” singer voiced Queen Tara in 2013’s Epic. She also voiced Shine during the Nickelodeon run of Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, a children’s educational animated series.
The Lion King is set to hit theaters July 19.
