Niecy Nash and Karrueche Tran are returning for another season of manicures and murder. TNT has announced a premiere date for the third season of their hit series Claws.
Claws follows a group of five nail technicians who are serving up way more than acrylic powder and eyebrow wax at Nail Artisans of Manatee County salon as they dodge rivals, rumors and the law.
Nash and Tran are joined by Carrie Preston, Judy Reyes and Jenn Lyon. Since it’s debut in 2017, the show has become a fan favorite, quickly rising to snag a spot as one of the top ten dramas on cable television with 33.6 million viewers.
This season, the ladies of Nail Artisans are about to learn that even when you own the house, the stakes can be higher than expected. In a new teaser trailer for season 3, the divas are leveling up their hustles as they walk into more money, more danger, and more hard gel sets with Swarovski crystals than ever before.
In the second season finale, Nash’s character Desna was able to finesse her way out of marrying her Haitian mobster fiancé and eliminate the threat of her Russian crime boss ending up on top with a brand new casino. But the glory was short lived when karma showed up and Tran’s character Virginia was forced to take a bullet for her partner in crime.
Like her character, Nash will be on double duty this season as she directs an episode for the first time.
Claws returns for a third season on Sunday, June 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Watch the teaser trailer above.
