Omarosa isn’t going down without a fight — or at least a half-baked explanation.
Leslie Jones made her second appearance as the former White House aide on SNL‘s last episode of the year, attempting to elaborate on the ousted political figure’s highly publicized exit to Weekend Update co-anchor Michael Che.
Che initially reported on Omarosa’s removal from her job (“whatever the hell that was — my guess is Secretary of the Sunken Place’”) before playing a clip of black female TV personalities — namely Robin Roberts — celebrating the ex-Apprentice star’s exit from Donald Trump’s circle.
“I demand a retraction,” Omarosa tells Che. “I left that job by choice. That’s right, I quit! I deactivated my ID card. I changed the locks on my own office. I escorted myself of the premises… and then I threw myself into the bushes.”
Che then beckons for an SNL security guard to remove Omarosa from the studio, but she refuses.
“You can’t throw me out because I quit!” she yells to the guard. “You better take my arm because I’m escorting you out of the building.”
Before exiting, she pleads: “And you better throw me into the Christmas tree!”
