Adonis Creed is back and this time he’s facing off against his fiercest opponent yet.
In a brand new trailer, released today, we see Adonis — played by Michael B. Jordan — training once again with Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) as the young boxer faces the biggest challenge of his life.
“If we don’t do what we love,” Adonis is heard saying in the more than two-minute clip, “then we wouldn’t exist.”
In Creed II, the upcoming sequel to the 2015 hit film, Adonis considers risking it all when he’s called out by Viktor Drago, the son of the boxer who killed his father, Apollo Creed. While Adonis is ready to fight, this time around he has much more to lose. As a new father, Adonis must weigh his obligation to his family against his desire to avenge his father’s death and cement his legacy as the greatest boxer in the world.
After the exciting new trailer for the film dropped, fans are even more excited to see the continuation of Adonis’ story.
I forgot how excited I am for #Creed2, thanks for reminding me. After that trailer, I won’t forget again.
Directed by Steven Caple Jr. and written by Stallone and Cheo Hodari Coker, Creed II stars Tessa Thompson, Florian Munteanu, Dolph Lundgren, and Phylicia Rashad.
It hits theaters just in time for Thanksgiving — on November 21.
