Looking forward to sitting around the TV to catch the feel-good moments from the 2020 Soul Train Awards? Well, so are we!
This year’s festivities will be hosted by Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold, who both starred in the ’90s sitcom Martin, and are returning for their third year of hosting duties. The long-time besties will bring their real-life closeness to the stage and are sure to give us a night to remember. The talented duo will also serve as co-producers.
Nominations for the event have also been announced, with H.E.R. leading the pack with eight nods. She is up for the Best R&B/Soul Female Artist award, along with two nominations each for The Ashford and Simpson Songwriters Award, Best Collaboration and Video of the Year.
Beyoncé is also has a chance of winning six awards, including ones for Song of the Year and Video of the Year. Other top nominees include Chloe x Halle and Summer Walker, both of whom have shared new releases this year.
Though a list of performers have not yet been announced, we’re sure they’ll honor Soul Train‘s decades-long tradition of bringing positive, passion-filled sets to life.
The show is set to air on BET on November 29 at 8 pm EST.
