This is the second project based on the lives and careers of the record-breaking trio. In 2013, VH1 released a TV movie called CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story that depicted their rise to the top of the charts.
But fans neednโt worry that the Broadway musical will be rehashing the same journey they watched on the small screen. The โRed Light Specialโ singers revealed that they left some juicy tidbits out of the highly-rated film.
โWe didnโt tell everything,โ Chilli said. โWe have so many stories to tell. We didnโt tell it all in our biopic we did with VH1. A lot of good stuff. Itโs gonna be very emotional, but a good ride.โ
Before the ladies make their way to Broadway, they will be heading out on a 21-city tour with Nelly and Flo Rida kicking off this July.
