TLC’s final album is on the horizon and fans have followed the group every step of the way, now the group has announced the title of their final album and it’s very fitting.
The iconic girl group announced that they’d be releasing their final album back in 2015, creating a Kickstarter campaign to get fans involved. TLC lovers have received updates and been involved every step of the way.
In Jan 2015, the group told ESSENCE that fans would have a say on videos, outfits, and the album title, which was recently announced. And, what did they decide to name the group’s final album? TLC.
The group’s rep told Pitchfork that the title was based on suggestions from fans, but full details about the album have yet to be released. However, the album will include the group’s recently released “Haters” and a collaboration with Snoop Dogg, “Way Back.”
“This album could not have happened without your support,” the group’s manager Bill Diggins wrote in a February update. “And, your confidence in TLC has inspired us greatly to make the best album possible.”
TLC is set to drop June 30.
