Tyler Perry may just be ready to kill off Madea!
The media mogul said that he was already planned how he will get rid of his most famous character.
“This is it,” he told SiriusXM radio host Bevy Smith on her show Bevelations on Monday. “It’s time for me to kill that old b****. I’m tired!”
And Madea, who has bee a feature character in many of Perry’s plays and movies, only has a few more months to live.
“We’re gonna say goodbye in ’19,” he said. “I just don’t want to be her age playing her.”
According to Perry, Madea will make her final bow in the upcoming film, Tyler Perry’s a Madea Family Funeral, due out in March. It will be the eighth Madea film in the popular franchise and the 11th film in which Perry’s portrayal of Madea has appeared.
He also planning a farewell stage play tour, with details to come soon.
