ANTM and the CW decided to part ways in October despite the show being one of the most downloaded for the network. The show, which was canceled after 22 seasons, crowned its final winner in December.
An insider revealed that speculation about the cancellation was due to Banks’ high salary demands. Changing to the cable TV station would mean access to a larger production budget and the opportunity for Banks’ to once again host the series.
No official word has come from VH1 about the potential programming.
