Wouldn’t it be great to step out in a sick pair of shoes and know that you’re not only slaying, but also helping those in need? The answer is always “Yes!” — and thanks to the latest fashion-meets-philathropy partnership you can do just that.
Stuart Weitzman has teamed up with Pencils of Promise (PoP), a nonrofit organization dedicated to building schools around the world in hopes of providing access to education. To support such a worthy cause, Stuart Weitzman has created an exclusive yellow suede version of the company’s famous NEARLYNUDE block-heel sandal.
The luxury shoe brand feted the charitable collaboration on Monday night in New York City with a dinner attended by a slew of style stars — includuing Solange Knowles, supermodel Joan Smalls, Gigi Hadid, and Julia Restoin Roitfeld.
The shoes retail for $398 and 100% of the proceeds will go to buidling three elementrary schools in Ghana, Guatemala and Laos.
And beyond helping provide education around the world, the shoes are definitely a sound investment when you consider they are super cute and the fact that Weitzman makes all of Beyoncé’s performance shoes, which means they are definitely comfy (aka Bey approved).
The shoes are currently available at Stuart Weitzman.com as well as Stuart Weitzman flagship boutiques in New York, Beverly Hills, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Costa Mesa.
