Amazon is now offering a try-before-you-buy clothing service that could completely change the way we shop online.
If you’ve ever looked at a pair of jeans or shoes online and wondered exactly how it would fit you and was hesitant about actually adding the item to your cart, Amazon’s new clothing service will definitely excite you!
Yesterday, Amazon launched Prime Wardrobe for all of its Prime members, which will allow customers to order at least three pieces of clothing, shoes and accessories at a time for women, men or kids and will have an entire week to try the items on in the comfort of their home.
Customers will be able to return anything they don’t want within seven days in the resealable box with a prepaid return label, and only have to pay for what they actually decide to keep in their wardrobe.
Last year, Amazon launched Prime Wardrobe in beta to a select invited group of people, and now the brand is opening up the clothing service, which rivals clothing subscription companies like Stitch Fix, to the public.
Considering Amazon recently launched private-label fashion brands, this new wardrobe service definitely makes sense. In addition to its private labels, Amazon also offers various popular brands such as Levi’s, Calvin Klein, Milly, Rebecca Taylor, Adidas and Puma.
Now excuse us while we go browsing on Amazon for a few new pieces to try on from Prime Wardrobe…
