If you know Billy Porter, then you know he is all about the theatrics. So when he arrives just know you’re in for a show. Porter’s latest fashionable appearance was at The Blonds Spring 2020 runway show.
The Pose star took it back to his Broadway roots with a new stage adaptation of Moulin Rouge. He sang the musical’s iconic, “Lady Marmalade” with the cast members in tow. The actor also performed his own self-empowerment anthem, “Love Yourself.” The fashion show was held at Al Hirschfield Theater, the former home of Kinky Boots, which earned Porter his Lead Actor Tony Award in 2013.
For his performance, the Grammy Award winner wore a standout white ensemble that consisted of a crystal-covered catsuit with matching boots, a floor-length coat and a towering headpiece. It is only right that Billy Porter received the Trailblazer Award at our Inaugural Best in Black Fashion Awards last week as he continues to slay and dominate the fashion and music industry.
