In August, Edward Enninful became the first Black editor to lead British Vogue and ever since, we’ve been anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first issue as editor-in-chief. Yesterday, British Vogue teased the upcoming arrival of the December issue, which they’re calling the #NewVogue, with a 45-second video clip.
The video clip shows behind-the-scenes looks at fashion shoots and reveals various celebrities and models we can expect to see in the pages of the issue. A few Black models who appeared in the clip include the legendary Naomi Campbell, British model Jourdan Dunn, and Adwoa Aboah, activist and new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty.
Enninful also shared the video clip on his Instagram, and his followers are just as thrilled as us! After British Vogue received backlash over the years for a lack of diversity, we’re so excited about the diverse range of faces and voices that Enninful is sure to bring to the #NewVogue.
The December 2017 issue hits newsstands on November 10.
