On a night when Missy Elliott is being honored, nobody can half step with the fashion.
For this year’s ESSENCE Black Women in Music event, presented in part by The Recording Academy, the celebrities did not come to play. Lil Mo, Danielle Brooks, T.I. Remy Ma, Jillian Hervey, Fabolous, Janelle Monae and MC Lyte are just a few of the celebs who brought their A-game for the night of celebration at New York City’s Highline Ballroom .
