Starting off NYFW’s Spring 2016 presentations with Zac Zac Posen’s beachy, seventies inspired collection. When this look came down the runway, we instantly loved it. Posen always knows how to give a simple outfit that extra touch to make it special.

Who knew wearing white after Labor Day could be so chic? Tracee Ellis Ross of course. In a retro mini Rachel Comey dress and simple accessories, Ross knows exactly how to dress herself, and looks effortlessly chic when doing so. It’s soft, feminine and modern all at the same time.

Rhie is one of the few designers that aims to create comfortable, sexy and beautiful clothing for women that they would pull out of their closet no matter what the day would bring. This look featuring a blown-up houndstooth print, is confident and has a complimentary flawy shape. It’s a fun and fresh print to consider.

It’s always a surprise when it comes to Rihanna, so when she showed up at her Rocnation block party, we knew we were in for a treat. Wearing a white velvet gown, bold blue lip and a few pieces of costume jewelry, Rihanna kept is simple and classy.

If you haven’t already noticed, capes are definitely back in style so you should grab on as soon as you can. At the end of Christian Siriano’s show, models like this strutted the runway in vivid jewel tone caped-gowns with head wraps and six in heels. Project Runway Alumni, Siriano, has made it easy for women to have a little high fashion without the high end designer prices. This look is the epitome of black is beautiful.

Models strutted down the runway in sheer and lace numbers, balancing transparency and color at the Tracy Reese Spring 2016 show. Reese’s inspiration came from the Black Lives Matter movement and wanted to transfer that sense of being aware and transparent to what is going on around us to the fashion world at NYFW.
Tuesday Sept. 15
Up-and-coming it girl, Aya Jones walked the runway at Oscar de la Renta yesterday afternoon in a ladylike red chiffon gown that hit just below the knees. Aya has been walking at all the major shows during NYFW, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for her.
