In light of all the high-end pieces that run through New York City, Housing Works, a nonprofit organization, has dedicated its company to taking in gently used designer digs in order to sale them to support those impacted by homelessness and HIV/AIDS.
To continue the brands’ groundbreaking work, the charity is hosting a Fashion For Action massive three-day sale with all-new merchandise donated by fashion’s top designers. The sale will also feature wardrobe from the 70s inspired HBO Series, “THE DUECE.”
Taking place at the Housing Works flagship retail store in Chelsea, November 15th and 16th will be open to the public while November 14th kicks off the three-day-extravaganza with a ticketed experience.
To commence the mega fundraiser, Housing Works will present a VIP reception at the Rubin Museum of Art followed by an early shopping experience at the Housing Works Chelsea retail location. With co-host Bevy Smith, and celebs like IMAN, Billy Porter and more, guests have the option to purchase a ticket for first dibs on the discounted pieces
