ESSENCE got to chat with the influencer about her first collection and what’s next in her burgeoning career. Read below.
ESSENCE: Who came up with bold concept for your JBW collection?
B. Simone: Honestly, JBW did. I allowed them to have a lot of creative control. I just knew I wanted it to be pink and glittery.
ESSENCE: What made you want to fuse beauty and fashion together for this release?
B. Simone: I’ve been working with JBW for a while and a collab seemed epic to me. I love their watches and it was a great way to introduce my cosmetics line.
ESSENCE: What led you to partner with JBW on this collection?
B.Simone: JBW is exactly my style. Clean, modern, chill but icy! I thought it was the perfect fit.
ESSENCE: How would you style the watch and where is the best place to wear the lipgloss?
B.Simone: The watch can be dressed down or dressed up. I wear it daily. And, you can wear the lip gloss everywhere. Don’t leave the house without it.
