So apparently Kanye West and his Yeezy line aren’t having the best year. According to TMZ, the rapper turned fashion designer is being sued by a clothing brand that’s accusing West and Yeezy Apparel of ripping off their designs.
Jordan Outdoor Enterprises is a company that manufactures and markets camouflage patterns and licenses their designs to various brands that offer everything from clothing to camping and outdoor products. Jordan alleges that a rep from Yeezy initially reached out to them to use some of their camouflage patterns, and after they explained they needed to license the items, Yeezy reportedly replicated the designs instead.
Jordan is now suing West and Yeezy Apparel for copying their patterns on bomber jackets, hoodies, thigh-high boots, shirts and more. Jordan apparently is seeking damage as well as wants to prevent Yeezy from selling any of the allegedly “copied” items.
West isn’t the only one who received a lawsuit from Jordan Enterprises. The company is also suing LeBron James’ Florida-based clothing boutique UNKNWN for allegedly ripping off their camouflage designs.
