Lala Anthony Dishes On Her Sexy Halloween Costume: 'Silver Sable Is A Total Boss'

Lala Anthony and Lenny S’s annual Halloween party is always the ultimate turn up, and this year’s event played host to a maze of masked celebrity faces in detail-oriented, over-the-top costumes. As hostess-with-the-mostess, Anthony transformed into Marvel comic book character Silver Sable, outfitted in a shimmery silver bodysuit with white gloves and clear, vinyl thigh-high boots. ESSENCE caught up with the actress and television personality just as things got underway at Vandal nightclub on New York City’s Lower East Side and she dished all the details about her extravagant costume choice. “Halloween is my favorite time of year and this year I wanted to do something different and out of the box,” Anthony told ESSENCE. “Silver Sable has a reputation of being a leader and hunter of criminals often hired by other heroes when they can’t get the job done themselves! She’s the leader of her own posse -the Wild Pack- and is a total boss and overall strong woman, so naturally, I was inspired.” Party attendees included Terrence J. (dressed as Santa Claus), Mack Wilds (dressed as a Don Quixote), Carmelo Anthony (dressed as the Halloween film character Michael Myers), and more.
