he crafted costumes for Beyoncé’s On the Run II tour.
This week the talented designer shared more exciting news with the announcement of his collaboration with
mega online retailer ASOS.
The partnership with the British clothing and accessories powerhouse, which is known for its affordable prices, will now give legions of fans access to Smith’s stunning creations. “The collaboration came about over casual drinks in Paris at the Royal Monceau,” says Smith. “Lola Okuyiga, then director of collaborations and special projects at ASOS, approached us with the opportunity after being a fan of the brand for years. Customers can expect classic, sexy LaQuan Smith shapes—women’s, men’s, accessories, shoes and plus size—reworked for the global ASOS customer. There is something for everyone.”
The ASOS x LaQuan Smith collection will be available online in October.
