Megan Thee Stallion is a force to be reckoned with. The Houston rapper has had a successful 2019 by putting out her project, “Fever” while simultaneously become everyone’s favorite rap girl. And while her awards show appearances are just rolling in, the “Big Ole Freak” rapper is bringing her sultry vibe to every stop she makes.
Under a new stylist – EJ King who’s clientele consist of Chris Brown, Cassie, and Teyana Taylor, has started working with the new rapper. Johnson’s urban yet luxe aesthetic has undoubtedly brought out a more subtle and sleek Megan when it comes to her fashion. “Meg and I sat and went over ideas, colors, shapes and came up with a few ideas,” King told ESSENCE.
Yesterday evening, the self-proclaimed hot girl, stepped on the red carpet for her first-ever American Music Awards in a high-slit Bryan Hearns shimmery red dress, and the internet stanned for her Jessica Rabbit inspired look. Jessica Rabbit, who is a popular Looney Tunes character wore a signature red dress, one that looked very similar to Thee Stallion’s ensemble last night. “I hit my boy Byan, and I’ve always loved his work and his eye for curves and shapes. This beautiful dress came about and the black Jessica Rabbit showed up,” said King.
To accompany her look, The Stallion sported a furry Jennifer Le peep-toe heel and accessorized with vintage jewels and icy diamonds.
And to top the night off, Megan Thee Stallion ended the AMA’s in the best way she could – a freestyle.
