Nicki Minaj gave the people what they came for at the 2017 Met Gala on Monday night.
The star was decked out in a custom H&M gown created by the brand’s design team and inspired by this year’s extravagant Costume Institute exhibition, Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between.
Minaj stunned in the sheer organza gown with a long train, featuring extravagant raw-edged silk taffeta and black vinyl roses.
The dress featured an off-the-shoulder silk duchesse kimono top, with a leather Obi belt featuring a mask of the face of Kawakubo. The train was decorated with rays of black and red, with one red Swarovski crystal ray extending to the front.
After shutting down the Met Gala red carpet, Nicki wasted no time getting back to her grind with a little help from Lyft, as she posed for a quick photo op before boarding a private jet.
We must say, we were totally here for Minaj’s eye-catching Met Gala look.
