When your parents are Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West, it’s almost inevitable that you’ll end up in front of a notable camera lens. North West may have just turned five years old last month, but the young star is already starring in her first major fashion campaign. North appears in Fendi’s latest campaign alongside her mother Kim Kardashian West and her grandma, Kris Jenner.
The campaign, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of Fendi’s iconic Peekaboo bag, features North wearing a blazer, ruffled shirt and skirt while laying in a grassy field with her mom and grandma, and also standing in front of a pool.
In an interview for WWD, Fendi’s creative director for accessories, menswear and kidswear Silvia Venturini Fendi said, “The idea was to expand the concept of family, as it’s part of our history, and we wanted other families of women. In the case of the Kardashians, they are all three of them very strong women, with strong personalities. It’s an iconic family, who is known for its appearance, but we wanted to bring more of an intimate side to the table.”
