Yesterday, NYFW concluded but, not without noted designers closing out the fashion-filled week. Dennis Basso presented his Spring/Summer 2020 Collection to an overflowing audience at Spring Studios with music like Whitney Houston’s “I’m Every Woman” elating the crowd.
Basso’s new collection is predicting that Spring will be about flowy get-ups, shearling, and baby pink. Resort-like dresses and chic pantsuits spearheaded Spring/Summer while hues of blue and white were used to accent the prolific collection. The designer also included evening gowns that featured a modern vibration and used fabrics like linen and swede to produce a balanced presentation.
Much like Basso’s fashion shows, he always pulls a surprise towards the end. Last season being Mary J. Blige stunning the crowd and this season Deborah Cox sported a flowy black and white cape to conclude the show.
