Last night, Chromat celebrated its 10-year anniversary at Spring Studios for New York Fashion Week. The future-forward swimwear brand makes a bold statement each fashion week by including a diverse range of models, and last night’s display further highlighted just how groundbreaking Chromat is. In addition to celebrating a decade of monumental work, the brand also partnered with Reebok to reintroduce the “energy return” sole.
From expectant models to superstars in the making (like Leyna Bloom, featured in ESSENCE”s September issue), the Chromat runway was filled with major moments. Artist Rico Nasty topped things off, but bringing the crowd to its feet with an energetic closing performance. And you can bet lime green is not going out of style any time soon. Hues of bright neon colors were featured throughout.
