Kendrick Lamar’s pgLang is back again with a collaboration with Converse. The two brands have come together to debut a black colorway of the pgLang for Converse Chuck 70 in two variations. One shoe variation features the Converse “Navy” pinstriping on the left shoe and the right features an “Irish Cream” pinstripe. The second variation features an “Irish Cream” pinstripe on the left shoe while the right has a “Converse Red” pinstripe. The sneakers will randomly ship one of the two new variations to customers.
The sneakers offer a go-to staple that has the added dimension of minimalistic detailing. That slightly hidden pinstripe detail is an exact reflection of the level of creativity and meticulousness that pgLang is known for. Attentiveness to any project is rapper Kendrick Lamar’s forte.
The brand which was founded in 2020 by Lamar and his longtime collaborative partner Dave Free also made a short film surrounding the last Converse and pgLang collaboration starring Baby Keem and singer-songwriter Dominic Fike.
The pgLang x Converse Chuck 70 will be available to shop on November 2 at pg-lang.com at 1 p.m. EST. Take a look at the colorways below.
