For one night only, Reebok Classics brought a frozen arena to Manhattan’s very own Lightbox, to celebrate the second installment of Reebok’s Alter The Icons ‘Transparency’ Collection. The second drops feature fresh new iterations of some of the brand’s most iconic styles.
The event also featured appearances from musicians Tayla Parx, Childish Major and DJ’s Amira and Kayla.
The ‘Transparency’ collection was designed to reflect our world today that seems to be increasingly more open and connected than ever before. However, the shoes stay true to its’ heritage but mix it up a little. The iconic silhouettes go through experimentation with transparent materials which leaves exposed, Reebok’s classic design.
In honor of transparency, Reebok brought in a custom ice rink, which ended up being the highlight of the event. Throughout the night there were performances from star skaters from Harlem Youth Ice Hockey and Harlem Figure skating.
The ‘Transparency’ collection extends across all categories: including men’s, women’s, and kids’. Available in Reeboks timeless silhouettes like Classic Leather, Workout Plus and Club C. Each shoe which is stripped down to their core and overlaid with transparent uppers.
The FW19 Alter The Icons ‘Transparency’ collection is now available in stores and online at Reebok.com. Check out below the photos from the event last night!
