Top model Riley Montana and her hometown of Detroit are at the center of designer Brandon Maxwell’s Spring 2017 campaign, the second time she has been featured in an ad for the designer.
Montana posted the campaign photos and video on her Instagram account Tuesday.
“Y’all have no idea how excited I am to share this with y’all. Being able to shoot in the house I grew up in with my family and one of my best for one of my bestfriends was by far one of the best experiences in my life,” her caption read.
Maxwell, a long-time stylist for Lady Gaga and big proponent of diversity in fashion, also used Montana for his first campaign alongside other brown beauties like Herieth Paul, Maria Borges and Leila Nda.
But Montana is running solo this time round.
Maxwell shot and filmed Montana alongside her family “ to capture the spirit of family and how important it is to stay close to your roots, even when your life changes significantly…,” WWD reports. In one image, she fierecely walks through the living room while her family looks on.
Expect more big things from Montana!
