When the clock hits 12:00 am on November 1st, I automatically get into the Holiday spirit. Despite the gift gifting and breaking any type of diet I may (or may not) have set for myself, I am most excited for the holiday parties. Why? Because it’s the perfect time to rock a festive look.
From now until January, there are a number of corporate parties as well as fun family and friend functions that for any fashion girl, is another excuse to go out and shop. But this holiday season, I am all about jewelry. While am planning to wear all black to mostly every holiday function, I have decided to let my accessories do the talking. So, in my search for holiday jewelry, I couldn’t help but notice Fenty released the ideal jewelry collection perfect for this season. Coincidence?
Time after time, Rihanna has championed black women and over the weekend Fenty released “The Cameo R10-19” which features, “oval-shaped, embellished with pearls and Swarovski® crystals, with jewel frames that profile a singular, young, black woman,” – and that black woman has Bantu knots. Yes, this is not a drill. Rihanna put a photo of a black girl with Bantu knots on a piece of jewelry and surrounded it with crystals.
Ranging from $340-$530 the Cameo R10-19 features earrings, pendants, brooches, and rings and can be purchased on Fenty.com and at Selfridges. Consider this a holiday splurge, I sure will.
