We can’t say that we’re surprised that Tracee Ellis Ross and Jesse Williams have been tapped to front a major fashion campaign.
Ross is not only a former model, but the Golden Globe Award-winning actress has a fashion repertoire worth talking about — and she is undeniably beautiful. And speaking of beautiful, Jesse Williams is just that, so it makes sense that Kenzo scooped these two stars of its latest ad. Ross and Williams, alongside musician Kelsey Lu, deliver the hottest looks from the brand’s SS17 collection.
And if the collection wasn’t fabulous enough, the Hollywood celebs-turned-models are serving up a super black moment complete with natural hair and an effortlessly cool aura.
Kenzo is taking this moment to a new level by debuting an accompanying short original film called “Music is My Mistress,” which was written and directed by the Grammy nominated Kahlil Joseph. This isn’t the first time you’ve seen Joseph’s work — he led the creative team for Beyonce’s Lemonade, which in short means Kenzo’s film is going to be epic.
