The 65th Grammy Awards has officially rolled in, and we’re excited to see which of our favorites have won that gold gramophone Award. We’re also excited to see what wild cards are showing on the red carpet this year. The Grammy’s red carpet has always been a space where political statements and claims to fashion icon status have occurred. This is music’s biggest night and one of fashion’s favorites to see who comes out on top. From billowing gowns that are breath-takers to well-tailored suiting, this year’s Grammy red carpet kept us glued to our seats.
Take a look at all the red carpet-trends we’ve noticed at this year’s award show. Maybe we’ll see more of these moments throughout the year.
Gold And Jewels
A soft glam and a gold dress adorned with jewels can go a long way on the red carpet. As seen on the comedic Kayla Nicole, who is also a very talented rapper, and R&B goddess Coco Jones, both giving us a little leg on top of the glam.

Business Casual
There was always speculation that the red carpet would end up having more casual looks this year, and this might be the first sighting of that so far. Both Hitkidd and Erick the Architect are keeping it chill at the Grammy’s this year in loose blazers and hats to top off the casual vibe.

Printed Blazers
Men in more prints, please! Blvk H3ro and Grammy winner Kabaka Pyramid are rocking with wearable art and being a little bold with their printed jackets to rest on their shoulders alongside their locs.

Bold Neon Colors
Risk-taking color has been always been around, but this year’s Grammy Awards showed us that it’s here to stay and take the spotlight on the red carpet. Popstar Lizzo dazzled in a warm and vibrant orange floral applique gown, and Dai Time and Autumn Rowe showed out in neon yellow and pink.

Dramatic Black Leather/Vinyl
We all know Doja is not new to this; her look stood out in a perfectly ruched patent leather gown, and Laverne Cox wowed us in her crocodile textured leather gown with jeweled emblems of Egyptian hieroglyphics.
