BET paid tribute to the cast of Love Jones Wednesday night during the network’s American Black Film Festival Honors, an evening full of black love and celebration.
The event was all about the iconic romantic drama with the cast receiving the Classic Cinema Award, taking the stage to thank fans for their support throughout the years.
Before accepting the award, however, Power actor Omari Hardwick took the stage to introduce the cast with a steamy rendition of Larenz Tate’s “Brother To The Night (A Blues for Nina)” poem from the film. Needless to say, Twitter was definitely feeling it.
Y'all, Omari Hardwick reciting this poem from "Love Jones"!!!! *throws panties at TV** 😩😩😘😘😘😘 #ABFFHonors
