Coding is fast becoming the language of the 21st century, and to ensure that low-opportunity youth are fluent, the #YesWeCode initiavtive hopes to teach 100,000 teens to become computer programmers to give them a fighting chance at a bright future.
At this year’s ESSENCE Festival, The Rebuild The Dream Innovation Fund has partnered with Essence and headliner Prince to offer a weekend full of special events and workshops geared towards coding. Take a list at the free events below.
