Jennifer Hudson may have one of the biggest hearts in the music industry. The mom, fianceé and family-woman often speaks out against social injustices on social media and in her music but this time around, she used a visual opportunity to spread a message of acceptance and equality for the LGBT community.
Jennifer recently signed on as an ambassador to W Hotel’s TURN IT UP OR CHANGE campaign. To raise awareness and fund various causes that support LGBT marriage equality efforts, Jennifer partnered with the W Hotel to create the storyline of her latest visual. In a new interview with MTV News, the former American Idol runner-up described the premise of her new video, “I just think the concept was just powerful to go with such a positive song. It’s about love and everyone should have love and have the right to love who they want to love,” Jennifer said. “So, I thought it would be powerful to take a concept like trying to find your equality in love no matter who you love.”
Watch as a dad sets out on a last minute journey to be at his son’s wedding in Hudson’s new video, I Still Love You.
