In the wake of Small Business Saturday, which generated $16.2 billion in revenue this year, ESSENCE will be spreading even more love to Black business owners next summer.
As part of the 2016 ESSENCE Festival, the annual event will expand to include ESSENCE Experiences. This new component offers Black small business owners the unique opportunity to get their products in front of the 500,000 expected consumers who will descend upon New Orleans, LA during Fourth of July weekend (June 30 – July 3) for this year’s ESSENCE Festival.
ESSENCE Experiences harnesses the power of the Black dollar and funnels it back in to the community by bringing Black entrepreneurs and consumers together for a one-of-a-kind community and brand building experience. This is definitely an event that small business owners will not want to miss.
Starting December 8, 2015 through February 26, 2016, ESSENCE will be accepting applications from vendors looking to reach a mass and captive audience. ESSENCE Experiences will allow entrepreneurs to vend their products, explore new ideas, recruit new talent, learn how to grow their business and network with business leaders from various industries.
Any small business owners interested in signing up for ESSENCE Experiences should do so before the application deadline of February 26, 2016 by heading over to EssenceFestival.com.
