ESSENCE Festival performer Mary J. Blige is gearing up to taking 2017 by storm and she’s giving fans a taste of what’s to come with her latest music from the soundtrack of one of the year’s best films.
Written by Pharrell and performed by the reigning Queen of Hip Hop Soul herself, “Mirage” one of several standouts present on the soundtrack for the Oscar-nominated big screen phenomenon Hidden Figures. The mid-tempo track brings a classic R&B feel to the soundtrack that’s sure to have you snapping your fingers and doing your best two step from beginning to end.
