2017 ESSENCE Festival performer Master P is bringing his authentic No Limit Records sound back to the music scene with the upcoming release of his new album, Intelligent Hoodlum, and the first single from the project is all about ride or die love.

Titled “If,” the song hears the New Orleans Hip Hop mogul boast about a special woman in his life who has been by his side, while also posing the question of whether or not she’ll continue to ride with him for the long haul through whatever challenges may arise. P recently released a visual for the song, which features his son Romeo and sees him rap the lyrics to a brown-skinned beauty as they relax at home by the pool, before later taking a ride around the city.
