Gap Band legend Charlie Wilson is excited for the release of his new solo album, “Uncle Charlie.”
After beating addiction and homelessness, Wilson stays positive and enjoys his second season in the spotlight.
“Right now I’m just building my strength, staying positive and counting my blessings every day,” he says.
Spending quality time with his wife w of 15 years who he credits as one of his angels is a must for Charlie Wilson.

“As far as the other members of the band, we are not in constant touch but they are always there for me if ever I need them,” Charlie says of he and his brothers’ band members.
