The Minneapolis native started
his music career as a drummer in Prince’s high school band, Grand Central, before becoming the frontman of The Time.
Day gets his groove on outdoors with the backdrop of a big city.
Day’s known as much for his fashion flair as his kinetic stage performances.
Day acknowledges the difference between the crop of old versus new school artists when it comes to musicianship.
“Artists today are more computer savvy than they are music savvy,” Day says.
Day says that “Purple Rain” changed his life by increasing his visibility and opportunities.
When it comes to his love for music, Day is open arms.
