The hip-hop satire film features everyone from Damon Dash to Rashida Jones to Flavor Flav, but did you catch a young Kevin Hart playing Diddy? At one point, he orders his security guards to go “shake down” a kid who calls him Puffy, not P. Diddy. And with that scene, we all fell head-over-heels in love with Kev.
Yup, Kevin made a special appearances alongside Anthony Anderson (and his dreads) as CJ in Scary Movies 3 and 4. With lines like, “How the hell do you wake up dead?” and, “Yo, you might’ve just made a fact right now,” he managed to keep us laughing all through the groan-inducing flick.
The definition of a “blink and you’ll miss him” role, Kevin plays Vic, a camera man who is filming an E! True Hollywood Story (RIP). He shares the screen with some pretty big names, including Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston, and at our count, his lines consisted of a whopping 15 words.
Ok, ok, we admit that we forgot that he starred in this one, but in our defense, it was before “Kevin Hart” was a household name. He plays Nashawn, a discouraged flyer who starts his own airline after suing a different airline and receiving $100,000,000 in damages. This role sounds right up Kevin’s alley!
Kevin Hart and Romany Malco have one of the most memorable scenes in the 2005 comedy. The two get into it after Kevin walks into the tech store where Malco’s character Jay works looking for a “brotha” discount… and he takes offense when Jay refuses. “First of all, you’re throwing too many big words at me. Now because I don’t understand them, I’m going to take them as disrespect,” he yells before Jay delivers the perfect comeback: “Aim high, Willis!”
