The surprises weren’t over yet; he was then blindfolded and told to guess who his next two special guests were by listening to their voices. The answer? Stars of new movie Ride Along, Kevin Hart and Ice Cube!
Steve and his lovely wife Marjorie debuted their February 2014 ESSENCE cover on the show. The Love Issue features details about their journey to love, hard times and triumphs. The couple let the audience know that they’d be going home with their very own copy of the special issue.
Steve’s daughter Morgan demonstrated how to make his favorite dessert, German chocolate cake. His twin daughters Brandi and Karli then joined him to give a makeover to another pair of twins. What Steve didn’t know was that there was more in store; Marjorie topped it all off by bringing the whole family on stage to sing “Happy Birthday.”
