Baby girl Ava Marie Jean Wayans was born January 4, 2014. Months before her birth, Vanessa and Mike hosted a star-studded baby shower.
“Little girl clothes are amazing and I’m the girliest girl ever!” Vanessa told ESSENCE.
Vanessa admits to have a little shopping addiction when it comes to dressing her little cutie. “I come back home and I’m supposed to go out to get dish detergent and Mike [Wayans] is like, you went shopping for the baby again? I can’t help it! It’s a girl!” she said.

“My child has definitely allowed me to grow more,” said Vanessa. “She [teaches me] something new every day.”
