Back to recap day 2 of NYFW Fall/Winter 2023 street style. If you missed day 1, go take a look here (like right now). For day 2, the calendar was stacked with in-demand shows; from the sculptural fruit bowl concept at AREA and the tailoring at Sukeina to Heron Preston’s industrial-themed NYFW debut (which closed to the tune of viral hit “I Just Wanna Rock”) and Sergio’s 90’s house extravaganza. And just as you would expect, the street style was, once again, impeccable. Fashion editors, content creators, and stylists like Zerina Akers and Shiona Turini gave us a lot of inspo.
Day 2 was a bit chilly, so the focus was on the coat. Everyone loves the fall/winter because nothing is more fashionable than a statement coat. Fuzzy faux fur coats, Chanel Tweed overcoats, moto jackets, puffer coats — coats were on full display. Other key trends; include knits, signature eyewear (chrome sunnies, tinted tom ford lenses, etc.), tailoring, and gold hoops (of all sizes).
