One thing that Megan Thee Stallion deserves it’s to be celebrated. Not only is the Houston rapper a great example of empowering women to be themselves, but she’s the perfect example of what it looks like to be there for yourself when no one else is. Black women tend to have to deal with that on a regular basis, and in Meg’s situation, it’s very public with the difficulties she’s faced. Megan’s been honored in the past, winning award after award, and dropped her most recent album Traumazine last year, touching on all the rumors and all the beef.
Today we celebrate her for spotlighting Black women embrace their bodies and sexualities. She’s encouraged us all to look within ourselves for strength and advocated for Black women to take care of their mental health as it’s still such a stigma. She’s truly that girl and always will be. Take a look at her beauty and grace through some of the hardest experiences below.
Oh, and Happy Birthday to thee Hot Girl!
