With the 65th Annual Grammy Awards now in the history books, and historic moments and monumental wins under several artists’ belts, it’s time to take a look back at all the glitz and glamour the whirlwind weekend that surrounds the Grammys has to offer.
With COVID protocols mainly tucked away and many events returning to full capacity and full operation, stars came out in droves to participate in the staple Grammy traditions of private parties, honors dinners, and Pre-Award galas once again.
MusiCares held its annual Persons of the Year Gala, giving honors to Smokey Robinson and Berry Gordy this year, while the Recording Academy held their honors of Black musicianship, presented by the Black Music Collective. Both star-studded events featured celeb sightings and once-in-a-lifetime performances from some of the biggest stars in the industry.
